Introduction
Since 1996, I have been offering world-class heli-sightseeing and hiking packages using a consortium of helicopter operators in the Jasper and Hinton areas just east of Jasper National Park. We use Bell 206 Jet Rangers and Eurocopter A-Stars to transport our guests through the mountain passes on a year round basis. These helicopters offer great safety, visibility and are heated to provide comfort for all. This is by far the best way to see the Rockies. As we are a small company, reservations are highly recommended for our scenic flights and professionally guided hikes and snow shoeing to avoid disappointment - Hjalmar Tiesenhausen, President & Operations Manager For larger groups, we use licensed guides and 15 passenger vans 
There's a good chance to see some elk on the side of the road
as well as Big Horn Sheep and the drive is simply awesome
We can fly year round in our heated helicopters - nice and cozy !

Company ProfileHigh Country Helicopters is a small company based out of Hinton Alberta, Canada. Federal park regulations prohibit take-offs and landings in Jasper National Park so we operate all of our tours just east of the park, about a 45 minute drive from the Town of Jasper. We belong to the Hinton Chamber of Commerce and the Jasper Chamber of Tourism & Commerce.
